Need help with using gptel for kind of literate programming flow

First of all big thanks @karthink for making this package, it's already being very helpful ❤️

I'm trying to figure the right combination of commands/options to achieve simple thing, suppose I'm inside my Go app and want to write the code for opening file x.html. I was thinking I can do

package main

func main() {
  create file x.html{{ CURSOR HERE }}
}

do ??? and get

package main

func main() {
  file, err := os.Create("x.html")
  if err != nil {
      fmt.Println("Error creating file:", err)
      return
  }
  {{ CURSOR HERE }}
}

I tried using r Rewrite with "rewrite from plain english into Go" directive but that is giving me full app code. And I feel such a simple flow should be achieved more easily already. Also it's clear that context is not supplied that way and I though it might be helpful to provide the context in general case.

Also I'm confused about the purpose i Respond in place (i) option. Seems as if using rewrite alredy does this? Cheers.

This looks like the kind of thing you can do with gptel-rewrite. If the main() function is selected and you ask it to implement this function, it should. Depending on the model, you may not even need to give specific instructions, just run gptel-rewrite.

I don't know how much more easy it can be? gptel won't send a request without you explicitly invoking it.

What do you mean by context here?
