Can't open "Configuration" and "Additional Options" bars on config screen, saving impossible #49
Comments
Hey, thanks for reporting! Unfortunately, I can't reproduce that issue on the exact same browser version (different OS though). I'll need some more details. First of, lets see if you have any errors on the javascript console (go to the config page, try opening 'Configuration', open javascript console and let me know about any errors you'll get there - screenshot will be fine). |
The only error I'm getting in the console in the Context options page is: |
Thanks for all the details. You can ignore the Twitter-related errors, these are not important. It seems that either one of your extensions is interfering with Context or that something bad happens because of the number of extensions that you've got. I'll try to reproduce that on my computer (that's the only way to see what exactly happens), but I'll need, if possible, your "configuration string" (one that you copy-paste to import settings). You can post it here on github or send it to me directly at kdzwinel@gmail.com |
Thanks. Context works properly on my Mac (OS 10.10.3, Chrome Version 44.0.2403.39 beta (64-bit); Context 0.414), which uses the same extension setup as on the PC I noticed the bug on. The bug only occurred about 2-4 weeks ago. Prior to that Context worked smoothly on the PC. Here's the string from the PC: And the Mac: And these are the extensions on the Mac: Extensions: 27
Disabled Extensions: 24
Apps: 14

I don't have access to a windows machine right now :/ Sorry, it's super weird that this issue is limited to one OS, it shouldn't matter. I'll give it a go as soon as I'll get my hands on windows. |
Thanks for the update. |
Chrome Version 43.0.2357.124 m
Windows 7 (build 7601: Service Pack 1)
Context: 0.414
I have found I'm now unable to click on the "Additional Options", "Configuration…" and "About" bars at the bottom of Context's config screen.
When the mouse button hovers over these bars, it turns into the 4-way arrow icon used when moving extensions into contexts and I cannot click to open them. This means I can't save changes to contexts or load them from Chrome sync.
This issue occurs when no extensions are active.
