Error from server (NotFound): the server could not find the requested resource

I followed the steps you mentioned in this. I am facing the error "Error from server (NotFound): the server could not find the requested resource" after switching to the context "federation-cluster". When i enter the commands like "kubectl get pods" and its showing the error "the server doesn't have a resource type "pods". But its working after changing to the "host-cluster" context. Now I am ubable to add the cluster to the federation and also "Configure kube-dns with federated DNS support'. Please let me know, where am making mistake.
