Since the authentication/SID depends on the implementation, I'm not sure where that would be documented.

I would expect a comment in the documentation, that this is the "subject identifier" uniquely identifying an authorized agent in a certain environment. The identifier itself depends on the environment and could be a UUID, email, or any other identifier.
