After a few shutdowns SNES roms and Ports refuse to boot. I will attempt to boot from the games list, the transition to the game will play, but then the game doesn't actually boot, just 10 seconds or so on a black screen (appears black, upon closer inspection some lettering from the games list is still visible, just darkened), during those 10 seconds, two (always two) buzzing/popping sounds will come from the speakers, and then I get booted back to the games list. This issue always seems to happen after 2-5 boot-ups of the console, and can be temporarily fixed by deleting the batocera.conf file from the system folder in the SHARE partition. (note, my RG40XXV is running on two microsd cards, one 16GB industrial SanDisk, and one 256 GB SanDisk Ultra. The 256 GB SanDisk Ultra is formatted in exFAT, not ext4, so this may be part of the issue.)
Thank you for your time.

I should also note that while I have only noticed this consistently with SNES and Ports (including the Port Master program) GBA seems to have the same problem after a longer amount of time. Also, I haven't tested to see if NES or any other consoles are affected, but I do know that PSX seems to not have this problem.
