about=A plugin to easily calculate Green View Index through Google Street View images. It includes 3 main tools: Generate Sample Points, Download Google Street View Images and Calculate Green View Index. It requires a Street View Static API and it uses the algorithm from Li et. al. (2015) to extract green pixels from an image. It has two python libraries as dependencies: scikit-image and gpsphoto. They can easily be installed through pip and OSGeo4W Shell.
