Crashing at start #14
Comments
Hi and thanks for reporting this. Can you please tell me if this was your first time using the app or if the error only started to occur now? As it looks like the settings file has some issues, a reset of the application should help. That will reinstall the app and erase all app data. Any problems with the settings should get fixed as the settings file also gets wiped. If the issue persists, you may need to check if there are any files in |
Thank you for the reply. I will try out the method you have suggested and get back to you soon. I have been using the app for some time now, and the error only just appeared.
Thank you again.
Yours respectfully
Dr. Saud M.

Hi and thanks for reporting this.

As it looks like the settings file has some issues, a reset of the application should help. That will reinstall the app and erase all app data. Any problems with the settings should get fixed as the settings file also gets wiped. If the issue persists, you may need to check if there are any files in %APPDATA%\Shutdown Timer Classic and delete them.

Fixing #14 needs more data about what operation causes the crash. I am therefore introducing more logging events to shine some light onto the issue.

As soon as I run the application on windows 10, it crashes. The log file it generates is attached. Kindly sort it out.
