Is there any way to reset the dongle by pressing a button or connecting 2 points on the pcb ?

I have an issue with a frozen dongle that is no longer reporting data to HA. If pull the meatpi dongle out then the data will instantly arrive. Days or weeks later the dongle suddenly stops.
THis is not an mqtt server issue cause I have restarted the mqtt addon running under HomeAssistant multiple times with no success. I have also rebooted HA by a full start and again no data from the car.

Only way to awake the dongle is to pull it out and push it in. Works for me, but not for my elderly parents who can not reach the dongle where it sits.

Is there anyway to reset hardware wise (PCB or a button on the dongle it self) ?

I have the usual white dongle, not USB or other connector.

When you use USB Flash method from here:
https://meatpihq.github.io/wican-fw/config/firmware-update
You can ERASE and then write an empty config again.

Seems to be a misunderstanding: I want a REBOOT, not a real hardware reset.

If I am using the meatpi dongle I get the mqtt message in HA for a while (months or weeks till error) and then out of nowhere or sometimes after months and now after days HA is no longer receiving mqtt messages.

I have tried first to restart the mqtt explorer in HA without success (I had been away from the HA home & hardware and the car was also not there, so the first choice to check that remotely when the car had come back yesterday).

Finally I was yesterday evening able to check the meatpi dongle in the car when it had no longer reported the data for about 5 days or so.

It seems to me that the WLAN LED was dark and also the mqtt / mailing LED, the 2 most right LEDs.
Here is a photo of the meatpi dongle when I get no data in HA (WLAN & mqtt LED were dark)
and below the meatpi dongle after I had unplugged it and plugged it in again. The mqtt LED is flashing, so a lucky hit that it is here enlighted.

For me it looks like a Meatpi Dongle issue cause I did not have the issue for month (I started in August and around chrismas I recogniced the first time that the SOC of the car was reported all the same over days).

I need to be there when the dongle seems to no longer been working cause then I hope to get a local access to the dongle to read the log.

Is the log resetted when I have unplugged the WiCan dongle?

would be nice if the wican can auto reboot itself at midnight or something.
for now, this is my solution with on/off switch. when my wican freezes, weekly, i can just flip to Off then back to On instead of pulling the wican out and plug back in.
