Maximum nodes

Just a short question is there a way to limit the maximum amount of nodes created or do I need to set this with the linode support?

Basically i want to set amount X maximum nodes and then it should stop querying the api with scale up requests. Also the count increases which then at downscaling takes a long time, even if these nodes were not created (because of Linode limits).

Hi there,

There is currently no functionality to limit the number of nodes. It can, however, be added.

I'll see if I can make a start over the coming days.
