Python debugger not working on remote

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
env: miniconda base
DEbugger is working on local machine and I can reach a breaskpoiunt. I can see variable

However, I can't run on remote machine. A blue small size object moves over left top potion of screen. Nothing happens. Not even the print command is run in terminal.

I assume you followed the instructions at https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/python/debugging ? And what do you mean by "blue small size object"? And can you share your launch.json config?
