The lib path is completely gone

Today I opened VScode as usual. It says python is not installed but I have been using python for 3 weeks. Then I go to the window files to check the existence of lib. Unfortunately, it doesn't exist and the save of my python files returned to 5 days ago, meaning my work was gone.

I'm not sure what you mean by "lib", but the extension does not install or uninstall Python, so we have nothing to do with this.

As for your files reverting, VS Code doesn't store state like that, so we would not have even been able to revert that far back if you saved the files. Are your files in a version control system? If so maybe you updated to an old revision and just need to update to the latest revision?
