Can you share where and how you install Python? Also share the logs from Python extension found at Output > Python. |
I have been working with VS code for more than 3 years and this happened now
I tried to download Python from the official website and from the Microsoft Store, and then the program says to work unless I close the laptop.
Then it asks me to download Python again.
This happened suddenly

If you open a terminal outside of VS Code and try to run Python does that work? Also, please share the logs, otherwise it is impossible to diagnose. |
