derive is no longer supported and requires old GHC pieces too.

Err, or not. It's still in the package requirements but isn't used it seems, which is stopping it being compiled. Will make a PR when I figure out what to do to make it build with newer GHC.

Oh I see - it was removed from hackage as correctly - but this isn't downloadable by nix.
