Failure to install nautilus_trader in pip

Expected Behavior

I tried to install the package using pip

>>> uv pip install -U nautilus_trader  
Resolved 15 packages in 57ms

It should be done easily but it got stuck forever..

I also tried different way to install

• nautilus_trader version: 1.209.0

It seems there’s no supported pre-built wheel for your system. The current CI configuration builds on Ubuntu 22.04 (which uses libc 2.35) and the latest Ubuntu (likely 24.04, which uses libc 2.39). If your system uses an older glibc version (e.g., 2.31), it won’t match the manylinux_2_35 or manylinux_2_39 wheels that CI publishes.

From your logs, I noticed cp311-cp311-manylinux_2_17_x86_64.manylinux2014_x86_64.whl references, yet you mentioned glibc 2.31. That’s unusual. Could you confirm your glibc version with the following command?

ldd --version

And to solve your issue, either

• upgrade your libc
• build the library yourself
• use docker?
