Can you make this plugin compatable with the Clear Light Bulbs Wiz Offers? #3
Comments
Hi, @Vic-Firth could you please provide some more information? Do you mean a specific product or the Clear Light Bulbs by WIZ in general? Thanks for your feedback in advance. P.S. maybe you can give me a link to your version on the light bulbs you wish to control, if you're not capable of providing the information I asked for. |
Thank you so much for the fast response. It turns out it only the On/Off works for the colored versions of the bulbs too. Basically it seems that the Colorchaning and dimming is broken for the Phillips versions. It's too bad you are in the EU, but thank you so much for taking time and being interested in helping. These are the Phillips Branded Wiz Bulbs. While made by the exact same company, it seems they must have changed something inside the bulb in these versions to make only the On/Off Compatiable with this plugin. https://www.homedepot.com/b/Smart-Home-Smart-Lighting-Smart-Light-Bulbs/Philips/N-5yc1vZc7chZ15b |
Hi @Vic-Firth But I still won’t give up, so maybe you can direct me to your product. I think if we find your product here: Maybe I can try to emulate your setting with a EU-Version of your product and all I have to figure out with you is the Internat ID of your product type, to add the support you wish to see implemented. I don‘t think Philips is using a different firmware, I think the light bulbs of Philips simply have a few different values for controlling the light temperature. |
Can you make this plugin compatible with the Clear Light Bulbs Wiz Offers?
The clear light bulbs dont use the RGB and only use the Kelvin Temperature and dimming functions.
