This short online course is suitable for learners working with the Life Science data who would like to apply FAIR principles to their research domain. The course use simple examples of how to make research data FAIR, guide through and signpost to comprehensive FAIR data resources such RDMkit, FAIRcookbook, FAIRsharing, DSW Wizard. Learners will be able to familiarise themselves with basic content and know where to find additional guidance and training, if they wish to pursue a concept in more depth.

You will learn

  • The FAIR principles and related terms including FAIRification and FAIRness of data.
  • The differences between FAIR and Open data.
  • How to extract information from the comprehensive FAIR data resources

This is a basic course. There is no prior knowledge necessary.
