for a game, you can receive when

a game start
your opponent moved
a game finished.

but some of you may not want to receive dozens of mails.

so, solutions can be

a game has settings when you want to be notified
you cannot stop start mail.
you can specify settings for each game.

or

a user has settings when you want to be notified.
you can stop any of notifications
all of the games use same settings.
