Using opentelemetry-bootstrap with uv

Any idea how to use opentelemetry-bootstrap with uv?

the bootstrap doesn't use uv so I just get:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'opentelemetry'
After doing these:

uv venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
uv pip install -r requirements.txt # (contains opentelemetry-distro)
opentelemetry-bootstrap -a install

fastapi run
