Summary

The 01:00 UTC datum was dropped by the COOP publishing node. The root cause is currently unknown, but connected or related to: https://github.com/orcfax/Incidents/issues/12.

Under Review

Assessment

While the issue isn't clear, remedial fixes are currently in-progress as part of Orcfax's work to upgrade its technical stack. Pre-prod changes to publishing will be tested over the weeks as part of an initiative to improve the Cardano Open Oracle Protocol (COOP) and supporting tooling.

Additional Notes

Publishing resolved by itself by the next regular heartbeat.

Technical improvements

We are investigating:

  1. A number of COOP tooling and publishing improvements to make publishing more streamlined and provide greater feedback.
