Sync failed when fetching crates.io-index

Having a message

Downloading crates.io-index repository failed: gitError(Error { code: -1, klass: 2, message: "failed to make directory './.': })

os: Windows10
path of mirror: D:\rust-mirror

I have this issue as well. It happens when trying to sync the mirror on a disk other than C:\ (where windows commonly resides)

Running command prompt in "sudo mode" (as admin) did not help

Interesting. Admittedly I've done all of my testing on Linux, but I'll take a look at this on Windows.

Oops much sorry for not replying in time! I unfortunately won't be able to test panamax in in the coming week or so, but once i can i'll make sure to try and notify you of the outcome.
