What is the process for making contributions?

I found a bug in the demo notebook and I think I know how to fix it. What is the process I should follow to make a contribution? Are there any testing scripts I can run to test my change before committing it and initiating a pull request?

Hey! Feel free to file an issue with the bug and submit a PR referencing the bug. We don't have any testing scripts for now.
