custom wireguard setup error

Hello I've been trying to get gtuetunvpn to work but I've had no luck my setup right now is that I have linode as my wireguard server so I can route my traffic from my unraid server to it. This is the error I've been getting, it's a small part of it but it's repeating constantly.

That means the connection isn't working. Wireguard is a silent protocol unlike openvpn, and it doesn't return an error code if authentication fails for example. So that log stating wireguard is up means the setup is complete, but the connection may be working or not be working.

Check your private key, preshared key (if any) and host firewall? Sorry I cannot help more.

That's fine at least that points me in some direction. Also do you think Tailscale could conflicting with it?

If you need 2fa on that same wireguard server:port then yeah that would be the missing part and gluetun doesn't support tailscale (just plain wireguard).

Was having same issue but turn out to be the wrong server public key on environment
