Hiya,

Gary Kramlich here, the current Pidgin lead developer. I used this package recently to release pidgin 2.14.13 as I had accidentally nuked my windows build system. Anyways, there was a number of tweaks I had to make to this to make it work to build the installers and stuff and I would like to share them all out.

Obviously I would prefer to do this in mercurial and host it on keep.imfreedom.org but wanted to reach out before doing so.

The tweaks I've done so far included merging #3, updating nsis and installing some additional nsis plugins. There's also some stuff that could be documented that I had to kind of figure out on my own but that's not a huge deal.

Either way let me know your thoughts otherwise I'll probably just convert this to hg and push the updates to keep.imfreedom.org.

I have adopted this and updated it. It can now be found at https://keep.imfreedom.org/pidgin/windev.

I'm leaving this issue open so others can find it.
