Ok, I swear someone took the domain name to use for black hat SEO? (add a .com on to the name of the repository, of course).

I just wanted to open an issues because of this myself. Now are thousands of links throughout the web pointing to that useless new page. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Why did it expire at all? If the original site owner is not interested in keeping the site up, I could offer hosting. But now that the domain name is gone,...
