A tool to delete favicon cache on Chrome to prevent tracking through the use of favicons.
Run script or executable file to remove favicon caches, doing so frequently will help decrease your risk of being tracked by websites using favicons.
Usage:
- Run the file while Chrome is closed
- Use -force argument when running to force close Chrome before deleting caches
NOTE: Since the binary is compiled using pyinstaller, it may be falsely detected by some antivirus software. If you are uncomfortable using the .exe file use the Python script.
