As members, contributors, and leaders of the ReVot community, we pledge to create a harassment-free experience for everyone. We value diversity and inclusion, and we strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation, feels welcome and respected.
We commit to acting and interacting in ways that foster an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy environment for all.
Examples of behaviors that contribute to a positive environment in the ReVot community include:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward fellow members
- Respecting differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Providing and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Taking responsibility for our actions, apologizing when necessary, and learning from our experiences
- Prioritizing the well-being of the community over individual interests
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and any form of sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information, such as physical or email addresses, without explicit permission
- Any conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
ReVot community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior. They will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Community leaders have the right to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct. They will communicate the reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including online forums, GitHub discussions, and any public representation of the ReVot community. Examples of representing our community include using an official email address, posting via official social media accounts, or acting as a representative at events.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the community leaders at minhajulhossain@gmail.com. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of those reporting incidents.
Community leaders will follow these Community Impact Guidelines when determining consequences for actions that violate this Code of Conduct:
Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or behavior deemed unprofessional or unwelcome in the community.
Consequence: A private written warning from community leaders, explaining the violation and why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or a series of actions.
Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. The individual may be restricted from interacting with affected parties for a specified time. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.
Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: A temporary ban from all forms of interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.
Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior or harassment of an individual.
Consequence: A permanent ban from all public interaction within the ReVot community.
