Would it be possible to have a preference option to change the default folder location of socnetv-data?
I am using socnetv on Linux, it uselessly clutters the home folder. A simpler option would be to hide it by prepending the name with a dot (~/.socnetv-data).
A probably better alternative would be to respect the FreeDesktop convention 1 and store the settings.conf in a ~/.config/socnetv folder ($XDG_CONFIG_HOME).
Thanks!
