hacs_badge

This custom integration has stopped receiving updates. It's included in core since the 2023.8 release. Please remove it from HACS and add the official one.

Temporary HACS integration for utilities that use opower.com such as PG&E until home-assistant/core#90489 is merged and released to core. For documentation see https://next.home-assistant.io/integrations/opower/

Supported utilities:

  • Evergy
  • Exelon subsidiaries
    • Atlantic City Electric
    • Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE)
    • Commonwealth Edison (ComEd)
    • Delmarva Power
    • PECO Energy Company (PECO)
    • Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco)
  • Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E)
  • Puget Sound Energy (PSE)

Installation

HACS

  1. Add custom integrations repository: https://github.com/tronikos/opower-hacs
  2. Select "Opower" in the Integration tab and click download
  3. Restart Home Assistant
  4. Enable the integration

Manual

  1. Copy directory custom_components/opower to your <config dir>/custom_components directory
  2. Restart Home-Assistant
  3. Enable the integration

Enable the integration

  1. Go to Settings / Devices & Services / Integrations. Click + ADD INTEGRATION
  2. Search for "Opower" and click on it
  3. Restart Home Assistant
