  <p>Hi, my name is Vamsee Kanakala, a web developer and entrepeneur from Chennai, India. I am an avid open-source enthusiast and contributor, and I specialize in creating database-driven web applications, my preferred framework being Ruby on Rails. But I normally tend to be language/technology agnostic, preferring to use the right tool for the right job. However, I am very passionate about learning new technology, and figuring out where I can apply it for best results. I have helped create several high-profile Web 2.0 applications, namely <a href="http://www.assembla.com">Assembla</a>, <a href="http://www.hotchalk.com">HotChalk</a>, <a href="http://www.dopetracks.com">Dopetracks</a> and most recently, <a href="http://www.printfriendly.com">PrintFriendly</a>.</p>
