App menu icon moves itself to far left after app restart

Since recently upgrading to MacOS Sequoia from Sonoma, I have noticed that the app menu icon moves itself to the far left of all other icons. I use HiddenBar app but like to have BetterDisplay visible at all times, but anytime I restart the computer, BetterDisplay moves the app icon to the far left in the hidden area while using HiddenBar.

I have replicated the issue after disabling HiddenBar to see if that was the issue. BetterDisplay is the only app icon that does this.

Would like BetterDisplay app menu icon to retain its position after moving it to desired location.

Hi there,

not sure why this is happening, the app does not move the menu icon around programmatically, it just pops up wherever the OS puts it - maybe it's the order how the apps are launching?

I can confirm that the icon moves to the left in the latest version while it did not do so in 3.2.1. I did make some changes after all apparently, will need to backtrack what exactly. :)
