Flipping display output for teleprompter no longer functioning

Hi,

Used to have Betterdisplay flip a hdmi connected external display to my MB. Since upgrading to a MB Air M2 this does not work. Make a virtual, stream to it, click the flip button and it does nothing. Can I get a procedure to do this correctly or if this will not work can I get a refund? This is the one and only reason I have this software.

I believe I have done all correctly. Notes:

• It isn't an iPad thru Sidecar - it is a display via HDMI
• It is a paid version of BetterDisplay so I have access to all buttons
• As compared to both your SOP and the video I only had the arrangement of the screens different
• Toggling the flip does nothing that I can see
• The virtual screen is not showing up on the screen it is streaming - that one goes black (no wallpaper) and gives the next point below:
• When I move the cursor toward the virtual it takes movement to "pass" the virtual screen before showing up backwards on the actual screen. I get the BetterDisplay message that this is the actual with the cursor circled with marching ants and the note to command-click to return the cursor to the virtual. Doing that likely does as stated as it takes a few swipes of the touchpad to get the cursor back to the main screen.

If I had to guess I would say that the thing not happening is that the "streaming" of the virtual display does not show up on the external.

Also just noticed when I did screenshot it took one of each of the three screens - main, external and virtual. All attached and labelled.

HI @hanzomic - if you see a blank screen on a stream target (or if you try opening a Picture in Picture window for the Virtual Screen), then you might not have the Screen Recording permissions configured for the app or the screen sharing API might be experiencing issues (this is usually solved with a Mac restart).

Does Picture in Picture work? If it does not work for the virtual screen does it work for a real screen?
