[QA] Sometimes MetaMask incorrectly shows "Not enough ETH" for transfers from Unichain despite sufficient balance

Describe the current behavior in detail

Reproducible on https://wormhole-connect-mainnet.netlify.app/.

Steps:

1. Initiate a transfer 0.0001 WAVAX from Unichain (MetaMask) to Avalanche (MetaMask)
2. Check if transfer has started

Actual result: Sometimes MetaMask incorrectly shows "Not enough ETH" for transfers from Unichain despite sufficient balance.
Expected result: Notification stating "Not enough ETH" does not open when the balance on Unichain is insufficient.
