Code included in the repo, in order of processing:
- calendar_to_grid() This script takes the area, planting month, and harvest month for each crop/subcrop combination from data_in/growing_periods_listed/CELL_SPECIFIC_CROPPING_CALENDARS.TXT and converts it to raster format. Output is written in netCDF format to the folders data_out/crop_physical_area_grids, data_out/planting_month, and data_out/harvest_month. No unit conversions or other processing are done in this step.
