You simply specify the number of tabs in the direction to 0. Regarding the error - that is a bug. Please, file a bug report and include all the steps to reproduce the issue. |

You haven't placed any tabs, hence no cuts. This is the basic philosophy of KiKit - you place substrate into the space and then you add tabs. The tab is the only element that yields cuts. If you haven't placed any tabs, no cuts will be made. |
