Different Results Between Versions?

I recently changed laptops and found that when running the same analysis using gp.prerank on the new laptop it gives different results compared to the old one. I am fairly certain that this is due to updating the GSEApy module, my question is, was something changed in the module that could explain this? And if so are the new results more "accurate"? I have confirmed that nothing else relevant to the data analysis changed and other outputs of the program have not been affected, only pathway analysis.

Also I have set and used the same seed between the two machines

can you show me more information ? such as gsea version you used ? I'd like to know what the discrepancies there

In general, the newer version should be used.
