How to use recovery:
Run the following commands using adb shell

• echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness
• echo 1000 > /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness

Recovery should be visible now, proceed to flash via adb sideload
