How to install and run on macOS
Here is how to run McDeob:
- Download the McDeob-macOS.dmg file from Releases and place it wherever you want to run it, such as your applications folder or desktop.
- Run the app.
- Choose your options like server/client, Minecraft version and whether or not to decompile after remapping. Click start. All files will be put into your user's home directory in a new directory called "McDeob"
- Enjoy!
If you wish to run the jar file, please see the instructions on the Windows/Linux page.
When the app is done running, if you have chosen to decompile, it will output a zip file.
You will find this in your main user folder, in a folder named McDeob.
ex:
/MyName/McDeob/final-decompile/
If you are using the built in "Archive Utility" program to unzip, it will most likely fail.
Exhibit A:
I personally use The Unarchiver instead of Archive Utility and it works great.

YAY!!!
