Initial release in the course of the ICE 2023, the 13th International Congress of Egyptologists.

This is the first ever public release version for the Virtual Light Table (VLT). Please note that this software, even though it was developed with electron and is therefore basically platform-independent, may still contain errors. This applies in particular to variations in operating systems and hardware configurations.

Python 3 is a strict requirement for the Virtual Light Table to run.

Bugs (only the digital ones!) are to be expected and to be squished.
