Create a dataset

Each catalog can have one or more datasets. To do this, you have to execute the action "Create New Dataset" on the catalog item. This action will open the following interface:

In this interface we can see all the information related with the dataset we want to create. The fields are:

• Name: Value that describes the dataset uniquely.
• Theme: Category in which the dataset is included.
• Periodicity: Time interval in which the dataset is published
• License: Indicate the legislation applied to the dataset.
• Spatial: Refers to the geographic area over which applies dataset.
• More info url: Link to another webpage where information about the dataset is extended.
• Channels: List of channels on which the dataset will be published. You can select one or more than one.
• Languages: Indicate which languages ​​will be translated certain fields in the dataset. Fields are translated:
  • Title: It will display the name of the dataset in the specific language.
  • Description: It will expand the information regarding the dataset in a specific language

After selecting a language, the interface will display a dropdown field with which we can interact to correctly assign the values ​​of title and description for each of the previously selected languages.

After adding all the information regarding the dataset we can press the "Create" button. At the moment it is created the old interface will allow us to create distributions associated dataset.
