Tatar and Bashkir apertium-tat-bak =============================================================================== This is an Apertium language pair for translating between Tatar and Bashkir. What you can use this language package for: * Translating between Tatar and Bashkir * Morphological analysis of Tatar and Bashkir * Part-of-speech tagging of Tatar and Bashkir For information on the latter two points, see subheading "For more information" below Requirements =============================================================================== You will need the following software installed: * lttoolbox (>= 3.1.2) * apertium (>= 3.2.0) * vislcg3 (>= 0.9.7.5129) * hfst (>= svn revision 3600) * apertium-tat * apertium-bak If this does not make any sense, we recommend you look at: apertium.org Compiling =============================================================================== Given the requirements being installed, you should be able to just run: $ ./configure $ make # make install You can use ./autogen.sh instead of ./configure you're compiling from SVN. If you're using a --prefix to ./configure, make sure it's the same one you used to install apertium itself. Testing =============================================================================== If you are in the source directory after running make, the following commands should work: $ echo "Әхмәт һәм Гөлнара уйнарға яраталар, улар һәр ваҡыт өй алдындағы баҡсала бергә уйнайҙар." | apertium -d . bak-tat Әхмәт һәм Гөлнара уйнарга яраталар, алар һәрвакыт өй алдындагы бакчада бергә уйныйлар. After installing somewhere in $PATH, you should be able to do eg. $ echo "Әхмәт һәм Гөлнара уйнарға яраталар, улар һәр ваҡыт өй алдындағы баҡсала бергә уйнайҙар." | apertium bak-tat Әхмәт һәм Гөлнара уйнарга яраталар, алар һәрвакыт өй алдындагы бакчада бергә уйныйлар. The following command runs tests which are on the Apertium wiki page: $ ./regression-tests.sh Files and data =============================================================================== For monolingual data, see the modules apertium-tat and apertium-bak. * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.lrx - Lexical selection rules for translating into Bashkir * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.t1x - Transfer rules for translating into Bashkir (first pass) * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.t2x - Transfer rules for translating into Bashkir (second pass) * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.dix - Bilingual dictionary * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.lrx - Lexical selection rules for translating into Tatar * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.t1x - Transfer rules for translating into Tatar (first pass) * apertium-tat-bak.tat-bak.t2x - Transfer rules for translating into Tatar (second pass) * modes.xml - Translation modes For more information =============================================================================== * https://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Installation * https://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Bashkir_and_Tatar * https://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Using_an_lttoolbox_dictionary * https://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Constraint_Grammar Help and support =============================================================================== If you need help using this language pair or data, you can contact: * Mailing lists: - apertium-turkic@lists.sourceforge.net (Turkic language specific) - apertium-stuff@lists.sourceforge.net (General enquiries) * IRC: #apertium on irc.oftc.net See also the file AUTHORS included in this distribution.
