Testele unitare se găsesc în folderul
river/River3/Unittests. Pentru a le putea rula trebuie instalată bibliotecajq. În folder se găsește script-ul script.sh care va porni rularea celor 3 teste. Tot în acest folder se află fișierul arguments.json care va trebui modificat de în funcție de argumentele ce trebuie pasate River-ului.În fișierul
river/River3/python/RiverUtils.pyse poate schimba calea către fișierul arguments.json.Pentru a putea avea coverage pentru biblioteca libxml2 trebuie modificat în
river/River3/TestPrograms/libxml2-v2.9.2/libxml2/MakefileflagulCFLAGS, în sensul că trebuie adăugată opțiunea--coverage.În folderul
river/River3/TestPrograms/libxml2-v2.9.2scriptulrun_script.shruleazăconcolic_GenerationalSearch2.py.Numele executabilului trebuie modificat atât în
river/River3/TestPrograms/libxml2-v2.9.2/run_script.sh, cât și înriver/River3/Unittests/arguments.json.Pentru obținerea raport-ului trebuie rulat
river/River3/TestPrograms/libxml2-v2.9.2/script.sh, iar rezultatul vă fi plasat în folderulriver/River3/TestPrograms/libxml2-v2.9.2/report.
