1. USDC on Ethereum | ||
• Goal: Demonstrate invoice creation and payment flow in a widely used stablecoin (USDC) on Ethereum mainnet. | ||
• Tasks: | ||
• Adapt the existing Request integration to accept USDC (rather than just EURé). | ||
• Verify on-chain invoice creation actually triggers on Ethereum (instead of Gnosis). | ||
• Value: This solves a major barrier—Ethereum + USDC is standard for many crypto freelancers. | ||
2. Mercury Integration | ||
• Short-Term Approach: Explore minimal OAuth2 flow if possible. If full OAuth2 is too time-consuming, at least finalize a partial approach for the user to input their Mercury API details in a safe “settings” environment. | ||
• Core Demo: Show how HyprSqrl can detect a prompt to “Send $2,000 via Mercury” and automatically queue an ACH payment. | ||
• Risks: Mercury’s OAuth2 might require collaboration with their team (logos, GPG keys, etc.). If that’s not feasible in a week, do a behind-the-scenes Mercury integration with user-provided keys, but present it in the front-end as if it’s frictionless. | ||
3. Request Finance vs. Request Protocol | ||
• Possible Stretch: If the existing code is geared to the raw protocol, consider quickly hooking into the Request Finance API for faster invoice creation (plus robust email notifications). | ||
• Trade-Off: Might be an extra integration overhead. Only do it if it’s straightforward—no big rework. | ||
4. Inbox & UI Polish | ||
• Provide a stable, minimal “inbox feed” that reliably surfaces new invoice or payment tasks. | ||
