locally installing

get python and make sure pip and python scripts are in your path / env vars then run

pip install mkdocs

then go to the folder with mkdocs.yml and run

mkdocs serve

now the docs will be available at localhost:8000 and they will live reload as you edit

recommended markup editor is Typora to save you the pain of tables
