  1. Update the release cycle guidelines for Major, Minor and Patch releases.
  2. Removed milestone creation in favor of semver.
  3. Remove SNAPSHOT version creation as the packages are currently not published anywhere.
  4. Added guidelines for merge freeze based on release.
