Title

  1. The title naming convention is Alternative Title: Publisher, (Time). We could use plus operator(+) to join those strings: =B2&": "&F2.

  1. Autofill the column by double-clicking on the small blue box in the lower right corner.

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Down arrow to select the Title column, press Ctrl + X to cut the text, and press Ctrl + Shift + V to paste only the value.

This is meant to remove the formula but keep the value, so we could append the date string to it later if it has one.

  2. Go through the Title column to check if there are cells containing date information. If so, move the date to the end of the title. It is also recommended to go through the Description column which may include date information too.

  1. [Optional] Go through the Title column again to see if there is anything unsuitable or inconsistent with the naming format.

For me, I’m going to delete SEMCOG in the top four records since they are neither county nor state. Also, South Bend is repeated twice and also should be removed.

I would like to replace the colon or hyphen with parentheses.
