Many thanks go out to the Wargus/stratagus developers. This repo has been forked to remove dependencies to the stratagus repository. This means, both wartool and pudconvert can now be compiled without the need of further repositories.
Before running cmake do: sudo apt install libbz2-dev libpng-dev
Compiling:
- cmake .
- make -j2
Usage:
- Mount War2 iso file: sudo mount -o loop war2.iso /media/iso/
If you have *.bin and *.cue instead of iso:
- sudo apt install iat
- iat war2.bin war2.iso
Finally, extract data from iso
- ./wartool /media/iso/

Wargus is a Warcraft2 Mod that allows you to play Warcraft2 with the Stratagus engine. The game looks and sounds exactly like Warcraft2. The gameplay is very close to Warcraft2's gameplay, with slight enhancements towards Starcraft.
