Idea

Build an online web app that recognizes faces and emotion and recommends music from YouTube based on periceved emotion.

Target Audience

Developers looking to test machine-learning API technologies and end-users looking for a fun experiment.

Problem

User need to listen to music that matches their mood.

Goal

Provide a seamless and efficient way to recommend music based on mood-detection algorithms.

User Stories

• As a user, I want to be able to upload a photo of myself and get recommended new music based on how I feel.

• As a user, I want to have the ability to use a profile photo.

• As a user, I want to be able to listen to the music recommended by the application on the same page.

Acceptance Criteria

• HTML has placeholders for images.
• HTML has a button to upload your own image and a text box to paste profile photo link.
• Firebase is configurated.
• FACE++ API is configured.
• Last.Fm API is configured.
• API systems are properly linked in master HTML
