Regrettably Apple deprecated the use of Core Data with iCloud. I have dark opinions of their engineering quality in the last few years and the iCloud API issues are a good illustration but, on the plus side, there seems clarity on what should be used now to keep working for a while.

It does mean a very difficult rewrite of very difficult code for iCloud inside Bus Panda, particularly when it comes to migrating the store for existing users. Nonetheless, it has to be done - this warrants a V2.

Since a V2 under-the-hood is boring for users, there are quite a few front-end improvements that should take place too and the WatchOS side of things is in a really poor state, stuck on WatchOS 2 when WatchOS 4 is current. This will be updated.
