ZipChord is a customizable hybrid keyboard input method that augments regular typing with chords and shorthands.
ZipChord's features are centered around making your typing faster and more comfortable. To do this, it offers the following features:
- Chord recognition (also known as chorded entry or chording) in parallel with regular typing
- Shorthand that expands typed abbreviations to full words
- Customizable dictionaries for chords and shorthands
- Real-time hints about available shortcuts in on-screen display or tooltips
- Automated capitalization and smart spaces around chords and punctuation
- Configurable keyboard and language settings
