Via the View page or a JSON recipe, you can download HXL data in one of two formats:
Most users should choose CSV, since it works with most user-focused data applications.
Use CSV if you plan on loading the data into a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, validating it with tools like R, visualising it with tools like Tableau, importing it as attributes into a GIS application like QGIS or ArcGIS, importing it into a database, or sharing it as the primary link for a HXL dataset.
Use JSON if you are an application developer who wants to take advantage of software libraries for importing/exporting JSON data easily.
